On 28th May, 2024 Shanghai High Standard Cleaning Promotion and Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Shanghai. Leaders of Municipal Greening and Municipal Facilities Bureau, leaders of Huangpu District, leaders of Sanitation Management Department of Municipal Greening and Municipal Facilities Bureau, leaders of Municipal Quality Supervision Centre, leaders of Sanitation Department of Municipal Greening and Municipal Facilities Bureau, leaders of Municipal Facilities and Environmental Quality Monitoring Centre, leaders of Huangpu Urban Development Group attended the conference, and the leaders of the Greening and Municipal Facilities Bureau of 16 districts of the city, the sanitation management and the representatives of the sanitation operation attended. The meeting was divided into two parts: on-site demonstration and discussion and exchange.

In the live demonstration of high standard cleaning operation, two unmanned cleaning robots Star Hyun® from KUSA Technology attracted everyone's attention, they not only demonstrated the basic functions of accurate edge cleaning, intelligent obstacle avoidance, deceleration and following, but also realised the synergy between robots through the interaction with the cloud, which depicted a picture of the future of intelligent sanitation for the attendees.

In this demonstration of technology and practice, two unmanned cleaning robots, Star Hyun®, worked together smoothly on the road like a pair of silent partners. They were able to identify and efficiently sweep the rubbish on the road, and when they encountered obstacles such as bicycles or cones, they were not only able to go around them flexibly, but also automatically took photos to record these areas, which would provide a basis for the subsequent supplementary sweeping work. Through real-time interaction with the cloud-based system, the robots can dynamically adjust and optimise their cleaning tasks. After the first robot completes the initial cleaning, its cleaning data is synchronously uploaded to the cloud. Then the second robot will seamlessly carry out supplementary cleaning according to the supplementary cleaning data to ensure that the road surface is clean.
This collaborative mode of operation not only greatly improves the cleaning efficiency, but also demonstrates the ability of intelligent technology to adapt and respond in complex environments, attracting participants to stop and watch, and highly appreciated the advanced performance of the unmanned cleaning robot, Star Hyun®, with many taking photos of the demonstration site to record the results of the practice of this intelligent sanitation technology.
