Recently, during a visit to the Sinan Semiconductor High-Quality Incubator and the Lingang Technology Innovation Center, Chen Jinshan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Lingang New Area, and Director of the Administrative Committee, conducted an on-site inspection of Shanghai KUSA Technology Co., Ltd. He gained a detailed understanding of the company’s innovative achievements and project progress in the field of smart sanitation and encouraged the company to leverage the industrial agglomeration advantages of the Lingang area to further strengthen scientific research, innovation, and demonstration applications.
As one of the innovative achievements in Lingang, KUSA Technology’s self-developed unmanned sweeping robots have been successfully deployed and are now officially “on duty,” providing robust support for building an intelligent sanitation operation system in the Lingang New Area.
The unmanned sweeping robots innovatively adopt an AI vision-led multimodal environmental perception solution, integrating contact and non-contact sensors to achieve high-precision identification and dynamic sensing of multidimensional targets such as road edges, pedestrians, obstacles, and debris. The robots can intelligently plan optimal sweeping paths with centimeter-level precision and dynamically adjust their operational strategies based on real-time perception data during tasks, ensuring standardized, refined operations and compliance with cleaning quality standards.
During actual operations, the robots remain connected in real time to the intelligent cloud control platform. Through intelligent algorithms that optimize path planning and resource allocation, efficient collaborative operations among multiple robots can be achieved.
Currently, KUSA Technology’s unmanned sweeping robots have been deployed in nearly 30 cities both domestically and internationally, covering various scenarios such as urban auxiliary roads, mixed traffic lanes, parks, scenic areas, industrial parks, airports, and high-speed railway stations. They are actively contributing to the intelligent upgrading of urban sanitation operations.
