From 26 to 29 July, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2025 and the High-level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence (WAIC) were held in Shanghai.

This year's conference, with the theme of "Intelligent Era, Together with the Ball" and focusing on the three core issues of "academic breakthroughs, soft and hard combination, and global governance", was co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), It is co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, National Internet Information Office, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Association for Science and Technology and Shanghai Municipal Government.

As an annual event in the field of global artificial intelligence, WAIC has been held in Shanghai for eight consecutive years since 2018, bringing together cutting-edge companies and technological innovation forces from around the world. KUSA Technology, as a representative company of embodied intelligence, was invited to participate in the exhibition, and its co-founder and CEO, Mr. Yang Xi, was invited to participate in the "Magic Box Live Stream", bringing a keynote speech titled "The Breakthrough of Embodied Sanitation Robots on the Ground", which deeply analyses the technological paths and grounding practices of unmanned sanitation equipment in complex urban environments. Practice.

Yang Xi pointed out that it is often difficult for traditional self-driving technology to achieve stable operation when facing urban road scenes with high variability such as ambiguous road boundaries, sudden changes of obstacles and narrow passing space. In order to solve this problem, KUSA Technology proposes the system of "body-constructed sanitation robot", which builds a whole set of technological architecture adapted to the complex environment through the in-depth synergy of sensing, decision-making and execution.

The system integrates a multi-modal perception fusion mechanism, deep reinforcement learning algorithms and end-to-end models to achievehigh-precision understanding of and responseto dynamicscenes, and enhance the robot's ability to make autonomous decisions and complete tasks on the open road.Unlike traditional technology paths that emphasise path planning and obstacle avoidance, KUSA Technology focuses more on the construction of equipment's deep perception of complex environments and operational adaptability, and is committed to achieving stable operation of robots for long periods of time and with high intensity in real urban scenarios.

At the same time of advancing technology, KUSA Technology introduces automotive-grade standards into product design, supply chain management and delivery system, and continues to build a complete chain of engineering application oriented capabilities around high reliability and large-scale deployment capabilities. It is based on this "technology + engineering" dual-wheel drive idea that KUSA Technology can bring embodied intelligence from the lab to the real city, and open up every link from R&D verification to closed loop scenarios.

A collection of deployed projects

Up to now, KUSA Technology has been deployed in 11 provinces and more than 30 regions across the country, with services covering urban roads, parks, scenic spots, parks, campuses and other complex scenes.Unmanned cleaning robots have become an important force in many cities to improve governance efficiency and optimise the public environment.

In the future, KUSA Technology will continue to promote the scale application of embodied intelligence in urban services, build a solid foundation for landing with engineering capabilities, and drive continuous evolution with a closed loop of data to help build a more efficient and orderly urban operation system.
