With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, big data, autonomous driving and other cutting-edge technologies, the urban service industry is experiencing a profound intelligent and unmanned change. Among them, unmanned driving and sanitation robots, as an important application direction of intelligent sanitation, urgently need professional forces to provide forward-looking guidance, technical collaboration and standard construction. In this context, China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association Unmanned and Sanitation Robotics Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Unmanned and Sanitation Robotics Committee") came into being. This is the first national specialised committee in the field of artificial intelligence in the sanitation industry, and it is also a concrete practice that actively responds to the national policy of "Artificial Intelligence +".

On 5 September, the Preparatory Meeting of the Professional Committee on Unmanned and Sanitation Robots was successfully held in Guangzhou, hosted by China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association and undertaken by Suzhou Voltai Information Technology Company Limited, Qiaoyin City Management Company Limited and Shanghai KUSA Technology Company Limited, with more than 30 guests from enterprises and research institutes, More than 30 guests from enterprises, research institutes attended the meeting to discuss the preparation plan and future development direction of the committee.

The convening of this preparatory meeting not only lays a solid foundation for the establishment of the Specialised Committee on Unmanned and Sanitation Robotics, but also builds a consensus and a clear direction for the intelligent upgrading of the sanitation industry.
