New practice! Chongqing's first unmanned sweeping robot "on duty"

An unmanned cleaning robot is travelling along the roadside stone at a constant speed with centimetre-level accuracy. The rotating "broom" at the front of the robot turns rapidly, cleaning up cigarette butts, paper towels and other rubbish on the ground as if it had "swallowed it". When it encounters pedestrians, the robot politely stops and makes way for them.

This robot is KUSA Technology's self-developedunmanned cleaning robotStar Kyun ®, the practice is not only theChongqing Municipal Urban Management Bureau ofthe first batch of artificial intelligence-enabled mega-city governance "unveiled to lead the question" - "based on artificial intelligence algorithms, " said the Chongqing Municipal Urban Management Bureau. It combines artificial intelligence, multimodal perception and autonomous decision-making technologies, and is equipped with an intelligent network system, which enables it to havecentimetre-level edge sweeping,safe obstacle avoidance,full-coverage sweepingandcontinuous operation capabilities, accurately perceiving the surrounding environment and predicting the trajectory of pedestrians and vehicles, so that it can comfortably cope with all kinds of complex road scenarios.

Different from the traditional sanitation operation mode, the unmanned cleaning robot Star Kyun®integrates road cleaning and watering functions. While cleaning, it can spray the right amount of water mist, effectively suppressing dust and maximising cleaning efficiency.



The implementation of this unveiling project enables Chongqing's sanitation work to move forward in the direction of intelligence and refinement.The robot is able to carry out sweeping operations around the clock, further complementing the gaps in manual cleaning and improving overall sanitation efficiency.

In addition, through theintelligent cloud control platform, robot operation data can be uploaded in real time, allowing managers to remotely monitor the operation and optimise the operation path according to the cleaning effect, thus achieving more scientific sanitation scheduling.

This practice not only provides a possibility for the commercialisation of the project, but also lays the foundation for the replication and promotion of subsequent scenarios.We are now waiting for the declaration of the test licence plate to be in place, when the unmanned cleaning robot will be formally on duty and start the journey of refined service.
