The reporter learnt that since the end of 2023, several "Star Kyun" have been put into operation on Songling Street in Wujiang, Suzhou, and have been running steadily for 6 months, covering an area of about 100,000 square metres, which significantly improves the cleaning efficiency and brings substantial improvements and upgrades to the sanitation operations in Songling Street in Wujiang, Suzhou.
In addition to the regular operation routes at night, an additional open demonstration operation route has been set up on Kaiping Road and Chang'an Road in order to allow more citizens to experience the charm of the unmanned sweeping robot.
It is worth mentioning that the "Star Kyun" robot won the "Suzhou First Unmanned Sweeping Robot Demonstration Competition" held on 30 April with its advanced technological innovation and product stability, winning widespread attention in the industry.
The robot has unmanned sweeping performance such as precise road travelling, efficient sweeping quality, and sensitive perception and recognition, especially the dynamic obstacle avoidance ability on slippery roads and accurate static obstacle recognition ability.
"It maintains stable and efficient sweeping results even in the rain, with excellent adaptability and reliability." With such optimised performance, where does the secret lie?
"Star Kyun adopts a visual multimodal solution, through big data training, so that the robot can accurately identify all kinds of obstacles, and import the corresponding semantic data of sanitation operations to identify the road conditions before and after the operation." Yang Xi told reporters, "In order to adapt to the needs of the sanitation scene, we also independently developed a closed operating system. The system is optimised in terms of communication efficiency and information security compared to the common open source system, which better meets the characteristics of sanitation operations."
